"Our door kept stopping and reversing whenever it got about two feet from the ground. Called Jan Door and their technician arrived the same afternoon. Located an intermittent short in the safety sensor wiring, neatly re-routed and protected the harness, and tested the auto-reverse with a 2x4 block to ensure full safety compliance. Fair pricing and friendly service."
"Woke up to a loud bang from the garage and found one of our high-tension springs snapped clean through. Car was trapped inside and I needed to get to work. Called Jan Door and their technician arrived in 35 minutes with fully stocked high-cycle oil-tempered springs on the truck. Quoted me a fair upfront price with zero surprise charges. Door was balanced, lubed, and running whisper-quiet in under an hour. Outstanding local service in Dearborn."
"The door was making violent rattling noises every time it opened. Jan Door diagnosed worn-out steel rollers and misaligned track brackets. Upgraded us to 13-ball sealed nylon rollers and did a full 25-point safety inspection and lubrication. The door now glides up and down so quietly you can barely hear it inside the house. Honest, punctual, and top craftsmanship."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Dearborn
When business operations suffer from a jammed warehouse loading dock door halting semi-truck freight operations and delaying client shipments in Dearborn, Jan Door dispatches certified commercial technicians with boom-lift equipment to immediately unbind and reset industrial tracks. Relying on Janus International Model 2000 commercial 26-gauge corrugated steel roll-up curtain doors, minimizing expensive logistics bottlenecks and protecting commercial fleets from overhead gate damage.
By integrating industrial neoprene vibration-dampening isolation mounts and composite acoustic hinge sleeves, Jan Door swaps out clanking drive chains for steel-reinforced polyurethane timing belts. This permanently dampens unlubricated steel wheels grinding inside oxidized tracks and shaking the living room drywall, leaving your overhead system gliding with fluid quietness verified by on-site decibel testing.
Put an immediate stop to freezing winter drafts seeping under brittle bottom seals and turning the bedroom floor above into an icebox. Jan Door calibrates track setback tolerances to compress weather seals firmly without binding the drive motor, reinforced by galvanized 20-gauge steel horizontal wind-load struts engineered to resist high storm-force pressures, providing Dearborn homes with long-term climate protection backed by a 5-year weatherseal warranty.
Restoring rapid vehicle access starts when our certified crew Jan Door clamps spring torque, re-spools slipped aircraft cables, and trues the horizontal track plane. By eliminating an opener motor gear burns out unexpectedly, leaving your vehicles stuck and your home unsecured with solid cold-rolled 1-inch keyed steel torsion shafts and precision Apco cast-aluminum drums, restoring total vehicle mobility and physical property security in under an hour.
End the anxiety of driving halfway to work wondering anxiously whether you remembered to close the garage door in Dearborn. Jan Door configures Amazon Key secure in-garage delivery protocols and pairs vehicle HomeLink buttons, seamlessly integrating direct-drive DC motors engineered with ultra-smooth soft-start and soft-stop electronic ramp control so ensuring packages are safely deposited inside your closed garage, completely safe from porch thieves.
