"The door was making violent rattling noises every time it opened. Ohana Garage Door diagnosed worn-out steel rollers and misaligned track brackets. Upgraded us to 13-ball sealed nylon rollers and did a full 25-point safety inspection and lubrication. The door now glides up and down so quietly you can barely hear it inside the house. Honest, punctual, and top craftsmanship."
"Accidentally backed into the bottom panel while in a rush and bent the vertical track outward. Feared we would need an entire replacement door, but Ohana Garage Door was honest and showed how reinforcing the bottom strut and straightening the guide rails would restore full function safely. Saved us over $1,200 compared to other quotes. True integrity."
"Our old chain-drive opener was grinding horribly and finally gave out on a Saturday. The technician from Ohana Garage Door walked me through replacement options clearly without any high-pressure upselling. Installed a belt-drive smart opener with battery backup and camera. Programmed both vehicle remotes and helped us configure the smartphone app before leaving. Extremely professional and clean work."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Katy
If you have been frustrated by contractors quoting low over the phone only to double the price once your car is already trapped, our technicians provide digital line-item quotes with clear Good/Better/Best options before turning a single wrench using American-made torsion hardware packages with published flat-rate replacement pricing, providing Katy residents with dependable, honest service that earns our 5-star customer reputation every day.
Permanent reliability begins when Ohana Garage Door precision-aligns the center bearing plates and balances door mass down to a single pound of resistance. This completely resolves cheap stamped-sheet metal hinges fatiguing and causing your overhead panels to shudder and groan through solid 1-inch keyed cold-rolled steel torsion shafts supported by sealed radial industrial bearings, dramatically extending the lifespan of your opener motor by eliminating deadweight drag.
When tired, yellowing sectional panels that make an otherwise beautiful home look dated from the curb detracts from your property value, our team coordinates bespoke glass glazing opacities and factory powder-coat finishes to match exterior trim. Supported by C.H.I. Planks contemporary horizontal faux-wood plank doors with sleek minimalist offset windows, creating an unforgettable first impression every single time you pull into your Katy driveway.
Built to withstand an accidental forklift strike crushing bottom sectional panels and ripping vertical tracks off the wall, our commercial division Ohana Garage Door conducts certified NFPA 80 rolling fire door drop tests and certifies governor release mechanisms using 3-inch heavy-gauge commercial steel tracks paired with 9-inch stem sealed industrial steel rollers. This guarantees providing full regulatory compliance with local fire marshal and municipal commercial building codes.
Nothing disrupts home tranquility like worn plastic rollers jumping across track seams and generating violent mechanical shuddering: that is why our crew applies specialized clean silicone-polymer compounds to all pivot sleeves and bearing races using powder-coated low-friction silent track assemblies with precision flush-mount splice collars, transforming your garage into a calm, vibration-free environment operating in near-total silence.
