"The garage door jumped its track and was hanging crooked at a terrifying angle with cables tangled on the drum. Called Lewis Garage Door's emergency dispatch and someone was at our driveway in 45 minutes. The tech secured the door safely, replaced the frayed aircraft cables with 7x19 galvanized line, and realigned the vertical rails. Highly recommended for emergency repairs in Rutland."
"Our door kept stopping and reversing whenever it got about two feet from the ground. Called Lewis Garage Door and their technician arrived the same afternoon. Located an intermittent short in the safety sensor wiring, neatly re-routed and protected the harness, and tested the auto-reverse with a 2x4 block to ensure full safety compliance. Fair pricing and friendly service."
"Woke up to a loud bang from the garage and found one of our high-tension springs snapped clean through. Car was trapped inside and I needed to get to work. Called Lewis Garage Door and their technician arrived in 35 minutes with fully stocked high-cycle oil-tempered springs on the truck. Quoted me a fair upfront price with zero surprise charges. Door was balanced, lubed, and running whisper-quiet in under an hour. Outstanding local service in Rutland."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Rutland
Ethical home service starts when our certified specialists walk you through every dollar on your estimate without technical jargon or pressure. We eliminate contractors quoting low over the phone only to double the price once your car is already trapped with heavy-duty commercial galvanized steel cables with documented tensile load ratings on your invoice, ensuring you never pay a single dime in surprise travel fees, diagnostic traps, or evening surcharges.
Rather than tolerating thin-walled hollow torsion shafts flexing under load and throwing drums out of true alignment, Lewis Garage Door strips away weak factory hardware and rebuilds the lifting assembly to commercial specifications. Centered on ASTM A229 oil-tempered continuous-wire torsion springs rated for 30,000 to 50,000 operational cycles, permanently insulating your Rutland home from unexpected garage breakdowns and repeat repair bills.
Elevating curb appeal begins when our master installers remove outdated panels and install structural aluminum framework with hairline seam alignment. By banishing tired, yellowing sectional panels that make an otherwise beautiful home look dated from the curb through Clopay Coachman 4-layer carriage house doors with high-definition composite overlays and arched windows, turning 40% of your home's exterior into a breathtaking visual centerpiece that sparks neighborhood envy.
Industrial continuity is threatened whenever an accidental forklift strike crushing bottom sectional panels and ripping vertical tracks off the wall: that is why Lewis Garage Door replaces bent 3-inch commercial track sections and installs heavy-duty structural steel jamb guard angles with Janus International Model 2000 commercial 26-gauge corrugated steel roll-up curtain doors, restoring full freight dock velocity and warehouse logistics throughput with zero lingering downtime.
By integrating Marantec Synergy Series ultra-silent direct-current drive heads engineered for rooms above garages, our technicians laser-align the horizontal tracks to completely eliminate wheel bounce and panel chatter. This permanently dampens worn plastic rollers jumping across track seams and generating violent mechanical shuddering, guaranteeing 10 full years of silent operation with zero messy black grease dripping on clean cars.
