"Our door kept stopping and reversing whenever it got about two feet from the ground. Called Magic Garage Door and their technician arrived the same afternoon. Located an intermittent short in the safety sensor wiring, neatly re-routed and protected the harness, and tested the auto-reverse with a 2x4 block to ensure full safety compliance. Fair pricing and friendly service."
"Woke up to a loud bang from the garage and found one of our high-tension springs snapped clean through. Car was trapped inside and I needed to get to work. Called Magic Garage Door and their technician arrived in 35 minutes with fully stocked high-cycle oil-tempered springs on the truck. Quoted me a fair upfront price with zero surprise charges. Door was balanced, lubed, and running whisper-quiet in under an hour. Outstanding local service in Forest hills."
"The door was making violent rattling noises every time it opened. Magic Garage Door diagnosed worn-out steel rollers and misaligned track brackets. Upgraded us to 13-ball sealed nylon rollers and did a full 25-point safety inspection and lubrication. The door now glides up and down so quietly you can barely hear it inside the house. Honest, punctual, and top craftsmanship."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Forest hills
Permanent reliability begins when Magic Garage Door strips away weak factory hardware and rebuilds the lifting assembly to commercial specifications. This completely resolves cheap stamped-sheet metal hinges fatiguing and causing your overhead panels to shudder and groan through solid 1-inch keyed cold-rolled steel torsion shafts supported by sealed radial industrial bearings, permanently insulating your Forest hills home from unexpected garage breakdowns and repeat repair bills.
When tired, yellowing sectional panels that make an otherwise beautiful home look dated from the curb detracts from your property value, our master installers remove outdated panels and install structural aluminum framework with hairline seam alignment. Supported by C.H.I. Planks contemporary horizontal faux-wood plank doors with sleek minimalist offset windows, turning 40% of your home's exterior into a breathtaking visual centerpiece that sparks neighborhood envy.
Built to withstand an accidental forklift strike crushing bottom sectional panels and ripping vertical tracks off the wall, our commercial division Magic Garage Door replaces bent 3-inch commercial track sections and installs heavy-duty structural steel jamb guard angles using Viking Access Systems and LiftMaster CSW24U heavy-duty commercial automated gate actuators. This guarantees restoring full freight dock velocity and warehouse logistics throughput with zero lingering downtime.
Nothing disrupts home tranquility like worn plastic rollers jumping across track seams and generating violent mechanical shuddering: that is why our technicians laser-align the horizontal tracks to completely eliminate wheel bounce and panel chatter using Amarr sound-deadening thermal sandwich panels featuring integrated composite hinge liners, guaranteeing 10 full years of silent operation with zero messy black grease dripping on clean cars.
Utilizing Tsunami Seal commercial-grade industrial PVC garage threshold water and draft barriers, Magic Garage Door retrofits triple-layer insulated sandwich panels with patented non-conductive thermal breaks. This permanently seals off scorching summer heat turning your attached garage and laundry room into an unbearable 110-degree oven in Forest hills, so leaving your home energy-certified, weather-hardened, and protected against harsh seasonal blizzards or heatwaves.
