"Accidentally backed into the bottom panel while in a rush and bent the vertical track outward. Feared we would need an entire replacement door, but The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls was honest and showed how reinforcing the bottom strut and straightening the guide rails would restore full function safely. Saved us over $1,200 compared to other quotes. True integrity."
"Our old chain-drive opener was grinding horribly and finally gave out on a Saturday. The technician from The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls walked me through replacement options clearly without any high-pressure upselling. Installed a belt-drive smart opener with battery backup and camera. Programmed both vehicle remotes and helped us configure the smartphone app before leaving. Extremely professional and clean work."
"We replaced our outdated builder-grade doors with a new R-16 insulated carriage house door through The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls. From initial measurement to final installation, the entire team was communicative, tidy, and punctual. The crew removed and hauled away our old heavy door and completed the job ahead of schedule. Noticeable temperature improvement in the garage immediately."
🔧 Core Services & Capabilities in Ft. Edward
Industrial continuity is threatened whenever failing an annual NFPA 80 fire door drop-test inspection and facing urgent municipal shutdown penalties: that is why our crew re-slats damaged rolling steel curtains and straightens wind-lock guide channel assemblies with break-away impact bottom dock sections designed to flex and reset upon forklift collision, delivering 100,000 cycles of continuous heavy-duty service under the most punishing industrial environments.
By integrating industrial neoprene vibration-dampening isolation mounts and composite acoustic hinge sleeves, The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls swaps out clanking drive chains for steel-reinforced polyurethane timing belts. This permanently dampens an old chain-drive opener vibrating ceiling joists like a freight train every time someone comes home, ensuring smooth, silent morning commutes without disturbing family members or next-door neighbors.
When daylight visibly streaming through perimeter gaps where warped vinyl trim fails to seal against jambs drives your energy bills skyward, our team replaces rotted wood jambs with composite rot-proof trim integrated with co-extruded vinyl flaps. With galvanized 20-gauge steel horizontal wind-load struts engineered to resist high storm-force pressures, backed by The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls's Draft-Free Weather Barrier Guarantee: zero water puddles, zero leaves, and zero whistling drafts.
Restoring rapid vehicle access starts when our certified crew the mobile dispatch team at The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls arrives with fully stocked trucks to unbind and re-seat the door assembly. By eliminating a loud metallic boom echoes through your home as a snapped torsion spring locks your garage completely shut with Genie commercial-grade quick-release carriage kits and heavy-gauge strike brackets, backed by The Overhead Door Company of Glens Falls's Same-Day Done-or-Free arrival commitment and a 1-year emergency warranty.
If you have ever worried about family members locked outside without keys or waiting for someone to drive home and let them in, our certified specialists install direct-drive wall-mount operators and wire automated power deadbolts. Backed by LiftMaster 87504-267 smart belt operators with built-in 1080p camera, two-way audio, and myQ app control, allowing you to open, close, and monitor your garage from anywhere in the world right on your phone.
